Flash programming troubleshooting

Context
Flash programming is possible via the pads on the PWB (see the Service tools and concepts section for more
information).
In flash programming error cases, the flash prommer (via Phoenix service software) can give some
information about the error. The most common error information messages are:
• Phone does not set Flashbus TXD line high after VCC is switched on
• External RAM test failed
Various errors can appear from the flash prommer when flashing the phone - not all of them can be directly
linked to the hardware.
Because uBGA components are used, it is not possible to verify if there is a short circuit in control and address/
data lines on Tiku or the memories.
This phone has a combo memory, meaning NOR, NAND and SDRAM are put in one module. This module and
the Tiku are placed on top of each other.
