3. Adjusting the needle stop position
WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine� be sure to start the
following work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.

(1) Stop position after thread trimming
) The standard needle stop poston s obtaned by
algnng ponter A on the machne arm wth whte
marker dot B on the handwheel.

2) Stop the needle n ts hghest poston, and loosen screw

1 to perform adjustment wthn the slot of the screw.

(2) Lower stop position
) The lower needle stop poston when the pedal s returned
to the neutral poston after the front part of the pedal s
depressed can be adjusted as follows : Stopneedle 1 n

ts lowest poston, loosen screw 2 , and make adjustment
wthn the slot of the screw. Movng the screw n drecton

A advances the needle stop tmng. Movng the screw n
drecton B delays the tmng.
Do not operate the machine with screw 1
loosened. Just loosen the screw� and do
not remove it.

loosened. Just loosen the screw� and do
not remove it.
