(1) The pedal is operated in the following four steps :
) The machne runs at low sewng speed when you
lghtly depress the front part of the pedal. B
2) The machne runs at hgh sewng speed when you
further depress the front part of the pedal. A
3) The machne stops (wth ts needle up or down) when
you reset the pedal to ts orgnal poston. C
4) The machne trms threads when you fully depress the
back part of the pedal. E
5) The presser foot goes up when you lghtly depress the
back part of the pedal D , and f you further depress the
back part, the thread trmmer s actuated.
• The machne wll perform normal thread trmmng even
f you depress the back part of the pedal mmedately
followng hgh or low speed sewng.
• The machne wll completely perforrn thread trmmng
even f you reset the pedal to ts neutral poston
mmedately after the machne started thread trmmng
acton.
Adjust the wper as follows when t s necessary to adjust t.
) Turn the handwheel n the normal drecton of
rotaton to algn whte marker dot 1 engraved on the
handwheel wth ponter 2 on the machne arm.
2) Loosen nut 3 , move wper 4 and adjust the dstance
between the wper and needle 5 to –0.5 to 0.5 mm for
the adjustment of longtudnal drecton A .
＊ After the adjustment, securely tghten nut 3 .
(Tghtenng torque : 3 to 5 N·m)
(Note that the screw should face front.)
3) For adjustng vertcal drecton B , loosen screws 6
and adjust the dstance from top end of needle to .5 to
2.5 mm.
4) For adjustng protrudng amount C , loosen screw 7
and adjust the dstance from needle to 0.5 to .5 mm.
＊ After the adjustment, securely tghten screws 6 .
(Tghtenng torque : 3 to 4 N·m)
＊ Check that the top end of the wper does not come n
contact with the presser and the finger guard when the
wper s n operaton.
