15. ADJUSTING THE NEEDLE STOP POSITION

WARNING :
1. Turn OFF the power before starting the work so as to prevent accidents caused by abrupt start of the sewing machine.
2. Do not perform switch operations other than those described in the following explanations.
3. Be sure to re-turn the power switch ON after one second or more has passed. If the power is turned ON immediately after turning it OFF, the sewing
machine may not work normally. In this case, turn ON the power again.
(1) Stop position after thread trimming
) The standard needle stop poston s obtaned by algnng marker dot A on the pulley cover wth whte marker dot B on the handwheel
* For the detals, refer to the Instructon Manual for the control box together.
(2) Adjusting procedure of the needle up/down stop position
* When the panel other than CP-8 s used, refer to the explanaton of each panel.
) Turn OFF the power to the machne.
2) Turn the power ON whle pushng the swtch 5 on the operaton panel.
3) The screen dsplay E ndcates the settng No. 96 and F ndcates the number of revoluton.
(When the screen dsplay s not changed, operate agan steps ) and 2).
4) Update the settng No. by swtch 1 or swtch 2 .
Settng No. 2 : Needle UP stop poston
Settng No. 22 : Needle DOWN stop poston
5) Specfy the settng contents F wthn the range of -5 to 5 wth swtch 3 or swtch 4 .
(Standard s "0". The numerc of set value ndcates the approxmate rotatng angle. (When the numerc s set to the "+" drecton, the needle UP stop
poston s lowered. (Drecton C)
When the numerc s set to "–" drecton, the needle UP stop poston s rased. (Drecton D)
6) After completon of the settng, press swtch 1 or swtch 2 to determne the updated value. (When turnng OFF the power to the machne before
performng ths work, the contents are not updated.)
7) After completon of the operaton, turn OFF the power to the machne. The normal operaton can be performed by turnng ON the power to the machne agan.

16. PEDAL PRESSURE AND PEDAL STROKE

WARNING :
Turn OFF the power before starting the work so as to prevent accidents caused by abrupt start of the sewing machine.
(1) Adjusting the pressure required to depress the front part of the pedal
) When the pedal pressure sprng 1 s hooked to the lower sde, the pedal pressure wll decrease, and when hooked to the upper sde, the pedal pressure
wll ncrease.
(2) Adjusting the pressure required to depress the back part of the pedal
) The pressure ncreases as you turn reverse depressng regulator screw 2 n, and decreases as you turn the screw out.
(3) Adjusting the pedal stroke
) The pedal stroke decreases when you nsert connectng rod 3 nto the left hole 4 .
