variable may be used
in
place of a number in any
calculation.
Now that you
have
planned
your
awards
dinner,
you need to complete
arrangements
for
your
conference.
You wish to allocate the
rest
of
your
budget
by percentages
also.
First you must find out how
much
money is still
available.
Assign
a variable
(R)
to be
the amount remaining from the total:
You can also assign the value of one variable (right) to another variable
(left):

Using Variables in Calculations
The
computer
can
store up to 26
fixed variables
under the alphabetic characters A to Z.
If you
are
unfamiliar
with the concept of variables, they are more fully explained

4.
