STOP
verb is encountered
in program
execution,
the COMPUTER execu-
tion
halts
and a message
is
displayed
such as
'BREAK
IN 200'
where 200
is the
number of the
line
containing the
STOP.
STOP is used during
the
development of a
program to check the flow
of
the
program or
examine the
state
of
variables.
Execution
may be restarted using the CONT
command.
The STOP
verb
is used
to halt execution
of a program for diagnostic
purposes.
