Indication on locking/unlocking the
car
When the car is locked or unlocked using the
remote control key, the direction indicators con-
firm that locking/unlocking was correctly per-
formed. It is possible to adapt the indication for
locking/unlocking. To adapt the indication, go to
the centre display and then tap on
My Car
Locking
Locking and Unlocking
Feedback.
Exterior indication
The car's hazard warning flashers indicate
locking by flashing and retracting the door

All doors, boot lid and bonnet must be closed to
indicate the car is locked.
If locking is performed with only the driver's door

, the car will be locked but indication will
only occur after all doors, boot lid and bonnet
have been closed.

Only for cars with retractable power door mirrors.

Does not apply to cars equipped with the keyless locking/unlocking (Passive Entry*).
Indication on the instrument panel
Settings
The lock and alarm indicator on the instrument panel
show the status of the alarm system.
A long flash indicates that the car has been
locked. When the car is locked, this will be indi-
cated by short, pulsating flashes.
LOCKS AND ALARM
Indicator in the lock buttons
Lock buttons only in the front doors
Lock buttons with indicator lamp in the front door.
An illuminated indicator lamp in the lock button
of either front door indicates that all doors are
locked. If any door is opened, the lamp will extin-
guish in both doors.
