    You do not need to unpack the device to charge the batteries. The UPS should be simply connected with a cord to the power grid, using special openings in the packaging, and the batteries should be charged for about five hours.     The replacement is performed in the maintenance access area. The battery maintenance should be ensured or supervised by personnel familiar with battery operation, using the appropriate precautions.
