In Auto mode, track numbers are automatically detected from
the digital source material. In this mode, you cannot insert track
numbers manually.
In the manual mode, you can add track numbers at any point
by pressing on REC (7) or TRACK INCR (37) (on the remote
control). The minimum track length is four seconds. Increments
cannot be inserted after recording.
Note:
- If you try to make a full (1 to 1) copy [OPT 44, CXL 44] of a digi-
tal source that does exceed the 44.1 kHz +/- 100 ppm range,
recording will most likely not start. In some rare cases, mutes
may occur and recording may stop. Use a better source or use
OPT SRC or CXL SRC to avoid these problems.
To start recording
1 Press the REC (7) button to enter the Record-Pause mode. .
The display indicator 'RECORD' will start flashing.
