4.7 Smoke outlet
The product has been prepared for a top outlet by the
manufacturer.
Fitting a smoke outlet with a top outlet

1. Attach the loose smoke outlet (Fig. 5-1) which is inside the
ash pan to the outlet using the retaining clips and screws
from the service package.
2. Screw the safety fitting (Fig. 5-2) crosswise in the outlet collar
to prevent damage to the baffle and exhaust deflector when
sweeping the chimney.

1. Lift the baffle (Fig. 6 - 1) up carefully.
2. Remove the pins (Fig. 6 - 2).
3. Ease the baffle out.

1. Lift the exhaust deflector (Fig. 7 - 1) up carefully.
2. Remove the pins (Fig. 7 - 2).
3. Ease the exhaust deflector out.

1. Unscrew the outer heat shield (Fig. 8 - 1).
2. Remove the knockout.

1. Unscrew the inner heat shield (Fig. 9 - 1).
2. Remove the knockout (Fig. 9 - 2).
