Self-Test Display

2.8.1 During power-up, the tape drive executes a self-test diagnostic sequence. All three front panel lights
flash at 2 cycles per second.
2.8.2 If the self-test fails, the Operator Attention Required LED changes to steady amber, and the other
LEDs go off.
