ime zone
The phone receives the time and date from your NTP time server. If the time and/or date on the
display are incorrect, you may need to set the correct time zone. If you have set the correct time zone
and the time is still incorrect, there may be a problem with the time server. Contact your network
administrator or your IP provider.
The list of time zones is arranged by the difference in hours (+/-) to the UTC and, within each time
zone, alphabetically by selected locations (country or country and city). Selecting and setting the

time zone:

On the phone
1. Press
> 1 Preferences > Time & Date > 1 Time Zone.
Press
to collapse the list to show only selected times zones where the phone language
is spoken.
Press
to show all time zones.
Press
to fast-forward to the beginning of the next time zone, i.e., UTC +1, +2, etc.
Use
to scroll.
2. Press
to save your selection
3. Press
for two seconds to return to the idle screen.
On the web interface
This setting can be accessed in administrator mode only.
1. Open Advanced > Network tab > Time > Timezone.
2. Select your timezone/country/city from the drop-down list.
3. Click on "Apply" and "Save".
E
mergency numbers
These numbers can be called even when the keyboard is locked. The numbers "911", "112", "110", and
"999" are preset.
Change/add numbers: Web interface > Preferences > Lock Keyboard > Emergency Numbers (space
separated). Type each number without spaces, hyphens, etc. between the digits, separate the
individual numbers with one empty space between them. Example: 911 112 110 999.
