5. Installing the bobbin
WARNING :
Turn ��� the power before starting the work so as to prevent accidents caused by abrupt start of the
sewing machine.

) Set the bobbn 1 nto bobbn case 2 n the
direction shown in the figure.
2) Pass the thread through thread slt 3 of bobbn
case 2 , and pull the thread as t s. By so dong,
the thread wll pass under the tenson sprng and
be pulled out from thread hole 4 .
3) Pass the thread through thread hole 5 of the
horn secton, and pull out the thread by 2.5 cm
from the thread hole.
If the bobbin is installed in the bobbin
case orienting the reverse direction� the
bobbin thread pulling out will result in
an inconsistent state.
If thread tenson controller No.  1 s turned
clockwse, the length of remanng thread on the
needle after thread trmmng wll be shorter. If t s
turned counterclockwse, the length wll be longer.
Shorten the length to an extent that the thread s not
slpped off.
Adjust needle thread tenson from the operaton
panel and bobbn thread tenson wth 2 .
) Select thread tenson
2) Set needle thread tenson wth
key. There s a settng range of 0 to 200. When the
set value s ncreased, the tenson becomes hgher.
* The tenson s set so that .5 N (spun thread
#50) s obtaned at the set value 50 at the tme
of standard delvery. (When thread tenson No.
