Grinding tools - Mounting and changing

Always cut the mains voltage to the machine when
working with the grinding tools. Make a habit of always
disconnecting the mains plug before commencing work.
Start by folding the machine backwards as per the
instructions on Page .
Remember that the grinding tools can be extremely hot
if grinding work has recently been carried out. The tools
can remain hot for some time following use.
The HTC 00 is equipped with our patented and
copyright-protected EZchange™ tool system. It consists
of wings with diamond tools. These wings are folded and
pushed into a tool holder where they are locked using a
light blow from a non-rebounding rubber hammer.
To mount the grinding tool, move it slightly tilted forwards
down into the intended slots in the tool holder. Now push
the tool forward out from the center of the tool holder, see
Picture .
Then lock the tool in the tool holder by administering a
few light blows with a rubber hammer, see Picture 2.
The tool is released with a few light blows using a rubber
hammer. Now do everything in reverse order. Strike the
tool until is loosens and lift it out of its slot in the tool
holder. See Picture 3.
