Electronic error codes - Telemeqanique

The HTC 650 is fitted with an advanced frequency converter. The converter can provide an error code for certain errors that
assists when fault tracing. Always state the error code if possible when contacting support. For resetting see page 33.
Error code
OCF
OHF
InF / EEF
Cause
OCF = Rapidly rising current
Due to a high short-term load that
is .5 times greater than nominal
current. The error may arise if you
drive into something or if a grinding
disk or something in the grinder
locks. Can also happen if a short
circuit occurs on the motor side.
OHF = Rapidly rising current
A lower degree of the same error
given above. This error may arise
where there is a heavy load. The
error arises at times the nominal
current for a specific period.
Frequently appears following high
power consumption for an extended
period. The error could also arise in
hot conditions (above 50°C).
InF / EEF = Internal fault
Fault in the inverter
7
Action
Check mechanical inertia, spin the
grinding disks. Do the disks spin
sluggishly? Reset the converter.
Remove the contact to the motor and
start the converter to see if the error
remains. Also see the point below. If
the error remains the converter will
need service.
As the error is related to the error
mentioned above, the measures
listed there would be worth checking.
If the surface being processed is
very tough, this may cause this
problem. If the error is related to
temperature, the grinder must be
allowed to cool down before starting
again. Another measure could be to
reduce speed to about half as the
grinder will then use less power.
