5.1.1 Start-up procedures

Start-up procedures
Mount a main module on the base
unit and install it to a control panel
or machine.
Connect an extension module?
Yes
Connect a main module to the extension
module with safety part extension cable
(refer to Section 5.3).
Connect the monitor part (EA, EB,
EG, EP) with shielded cable.
Set the extension module station
number and extension communication
terminating resistor setting switch
(refer to Section 5.3).
Connect a safety part terminating
connector to the last module.
Set start-up mode with start-up input
mode setting switch.
