CC-Link Safety Relay Module

5.2.1

Start-up procedures

Figure 5.3 shows start-up procedures for the CC-Link safety relay module.
Start
Mount a master module, local
module, and standby master module
on the base unit.
Install the modules to a control panel
or machine.
Connect an extension module?
Yes
Connect a main module to the
extension module with safety part
extension cable (refer to Section 5.3).
Connect the monitor part (EA, EB,
EG, EP) with shielded cable.
Set the extension module station
number and extension communication
terminating resistor setting switch
(refer to Section 5.3).
Connect a safety part terminating
connector to the last module.
Connect the main module with
CC-Link dedicated cable and connect
terminating resistor to both ends of
the module.
Set start-up mode with start-up mode
setting switch.
