Extension Safety Relay Module

5.3.1

Start-up procedures

Figure 5.6 shows start-up procedures for the extension safety relay module.
Start
Mount a module on a DIN rail or
control panel.
Connect safety circuit part extension
cable to the extension connector on
the front of the module (IN side).
Connect the monitor part (EA, EB,
EG, EP) with shielded cable.
Set the station number of extension
module communication.
Connect a safety circuit part
terminating connector to the last
module.
Connect more
extension modules?
No
Set the terminating resistor switch
for extension communication.
Set start-up mode with start-up mode
setting switch.
