Item
Specifies whether or not the machine automatically
changes the paper settings to the required settings when
you close the tray.
• Static: The tray settings do not change when you
open and close the tray.
Tray Mode
• Dynamic: If you open and close the tray when a paper
mismatch occurs, the paper settings (size and type) for
that tray automatically change to the settings
required for the job. (When you open and close the
tray in the Dynamic mode, the machine presumes
that the paper in the tray was replaced with the size
and type required for the job.)
Allows you to select the PDF type when saving the data as
a PDF file.
• Standard: Saves the data as a regular PDF.
• PDF/A: Saves the data as a PDF that has the necessary
information to render itself in any environment.
PDF Type
PDF/A file must be self-contained: it cannot rely on
another application to render fonts, open hyperlinks,
or execute scripts, audio files, or video files.
Description Item
You can apply the stamp feature.
• Item: Prints the time and date, IP address, page
number, device information, or user ID, to the copy
Stamp
output.
• Opacity: You can select the transparency.
• Position: Sets the position.
Address Book Views or prints the phone book or email address list.
Imports data stored on a USB memory stick to the
Import Setting
machine.
Exports data stored on the machine stick to a USB
Export Setting
memory.
When toner cartridge is empty, this option appears. You
CLR Empty Msg
can clear the empty message.
