Cancelling a base unit

If the handset is in another radio area and/or the power is OFF when "Cancelling
a Handset" on page 50, the previous base unit number still remains in the
cancelled handset. Therefore, you need to cancel the base unit registered in the
cancelled handset by following the steps below.

Press (Program).

Press 7 , then

Enter the handset password (p. 34).
The current registered base unit number(s)
is/are displayed.

Press the base unit number which you wish to
cancel using the dialling buttons.
The selected base unit number flashes.
If you misdial, press the number again.

When finished, press
A confirmation tone sounds.
The base unit number is cancelled.
