Cause/solution
R Depending on your service provider/telephone company, the
unit may display the caller's information at the 2nd ring or later.
Set the first ring to "Off" (page 38).
R Move closer to the base unit.
R Incorrect time information from incoming Caller ID changes the
time. Set the time adjustment to "Manual" (off) (page 38).
Cause/solution
R Confirm that the mobile phone supports Bluetooth
wireless technology.
R Confirm that the mobile phone supports the Phone Book
Access Profile (PBAP) or Object Push Profile (OPP)
specification.
R If the mobile phone is already connected to another
Bluetooth device, turn it off or disconnect it from the
mobile phone.
R Someone is using a mobile line. Try again later.
R Turn the mobile phone off, then turn it on and try again.
R If an entry is already stored in the unit's phonebook, the
entry cannot be copied even by selecting another
category.
R iPhone does not support individual phonebook copy.
R The Bluetooth feature cannot be accessed immediately
after connecting the AC adaptor to the base unit. Wait a
few seconds and try again.
R Confirm that the mobile phone supports the Message
Access Profile (MAP) specification.
R If your smartphone does not support Message Access
Profile (MAP), download the "Text Message Alert" app
(page 53).
R SMS alert is set to "Off". Set it to "On".
R The Bluetooth device's Bluetooth notifications setting is
turned off.
R The handset selected to display alerts is in use.
R The Bluetooth device or its corresponding mobile line is in
use.
R Confirm that your Bluetooth device supports the
Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) specification.
R The desired Bluetooth device is not selected. Change the
"Music Device" setting (page 36).
R Confirm that the Bluetooth device supports the Audio
Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) specification.
