Installation under a kitchen cabinet
• Remove the protective plate on the cooker
hood's equipment cubicle to enable you to
access the contacts on the electric power
supply and control cables.
• Fasten the cooker hoood under the kitchen
cabinet using four screws and fit the
cover plugs in the screw holes. Be sure to
position the cooker hood horizontally. The
safety clearance between cooker hob and
cooker hood's grease filter should be at
least 500 mm. Above a gas hob unit, the
safety clearance should be 650 mm.
• Connect the ventilation duct from the out-
let duct to the cooker hood's outlet spigot
when you have mounted the cooker hood.
• Connect the electric power supply and con-
trol cables and secure the protective plate
onto the equipment cubicle with screws.

Installation between kitchen cabinets
• Remove the protective plate on the cooker
hood's equipment cubicle to enable you to
access the contacts on the electric power
supply and control cables.
• Prepare the cooker hood for installation by
fastening the four edge pieces (from the
material bag) (accessory) as shown in the
illustration below. Fasten the edge pieces
with screws to the edges of the cooker
hood on both sides, positioning them
appropriately with regard to the spice rack
and the kitchen cabinets.
• Secure the cooker hood to the adjacent
upper cupboard. Be sure to position the
cooker hood horizontally. The safety clear-
ance between cooker hob and cooker
hood's grease filter should be at least 500
mm. Above a gas hob unit, the safety
clearance should be 650 mm.
• Connect the ventilation duct from the out-
let duct to the cooker hood's outlet spigot
when you have mounted the cooker hood.
• Connect the electric power supply and con-
trol cables and secure the protective plate
onto the equipment cubicle with screws.
