Specific Safety Rules

Specific Safety Rules for Garden Tools
• Avoid dangerous environments. Do not use the blower in damp or wet locations. Do not use it in the rain.
• Keep bystanders and children away when using the blower.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery that can get caught in moving parts. Use rubber gloves and rugged
footwear when working outdoors.
• Avoid accidental start-ups.
• Do not force the tool. It will do the job better and with less likelihood of injury if it is used at the rate that it was designed to
work at.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
• When not in use, tools should be stored indoors in a dry, high, or locked-up place, out of the reach of children. Always
store tools with the battery disconnected from the charger and the tool.
• Maintain tools with care. Keep cutting edges sharp and clean for best performance, and in order to reduce the risk of injury.
• Remove the battery from the charger and unplug the charger from outlet once charging has been completed.
• Avoid dangerous situations.
• Use this tool only for its intended purpose.
• Stay alert.
• Keep guards in place and in working order.
• Wear hearing protection.
• Always wear eye protection.
Specific Safety Rules for Blowers
• Do not operate the blower if any of the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of dust, lint, hair, and anything
else that may reduce airflow. Do not insert anything into the openings or the blower tubes.
• Do not use the tool for spreading chemicals, fertilizer, or any other substance that may contain toxic materials. Do not use
the blower to spray flammable liquids.
• Be very careful when using the blower on stairs.
• Inspect the work area before starting the blower. Remove debris and hard or sharp objects that can be blown or that can
cause damage during operation.
• When using the blower, work moving away from solid objects (walls, large stones, automobiles, fences, etc.)
• Be careful when working near valuable plants. The force of the blown air could damage tender plants.
• Verify that the switch is in the OFF position when clearing jammed material from the blower. In order to avoid possible
accidental start-ups, remove or disconnect the battery before servicing, cleaning, or removing material from the blower.
WARNING
• Do not operate the blower when you are tired or when visibility is limited. Do not use the blower at night or in reduced light
conditions.
• Keep the blower dry, clean, and free of oil and grease.
Specific Safety Rules for the Battery Pack and Charger
DANGER
Follow these rules in order to avoid serious injury, the risk of fire or explosion, and the danger of electric shock or electro-
cution:
• Do not probe the charger with conductive materials.The charging terminals hold 120 V of power.
• If the case of the battery pack is cracked or damaged, do not insert it into the charger. Replace the battery pack.
• Do not charge this battery pack using any other type of charger.
• Charge only the battery pack that is provided.
• Do not allow liquid to get inside the charger.
• Remove the battery from the charger when the battery been fully recharged.
• Disconnect the charger from the outlet when it is not in use.
• When servicing, use identical replacement parts.
• Do not try to use the charger for any purpose other than what is described in this Manual.
