6.3 Add SIP Entities
In the sample configuration, a SIP Entity is added for Session Manager and the C-LAN in the
G650 Media Gateway.
6.3.1 Session Manager
A SIP Entity must be added for Session Manager. To add a SIP Entity, select SIP Entities on
the left and click on the New button (not shown) on the right. The following screen is displayed.
Fill in the following:
Under General:
Name:
FQDN or IP Address:
Type:
Location:
Time Zone:
Under Port, click Add, and then edit the fields in the resulting new row as shown below:
Port:
Protocol:
Default Domain
Defaults can be used for the remaining fields. Click Commit to save each SIP Entity definition.

IP address of the signaling interface on Session Manager.
Select Session Manager.
Select the location defined previously.
Time zone for this location.
Port number on which the system listens for SIP
requests.
Transport protocol to be used to send SIP requests.
The domain used for the enterprise (e.g.,
avaya.com).
