Entering Calibration/Adjust-
ment and Linearization
Weights
Purpose
For manual input of the calibration,
adjustment and linearization weights.
Note on Settings
– Service mode must be active for enter-
ing the linearization weights under
menu items 1.18.2 through 1.18.5.

– Enter calibration/adjustment and
linearization weights in the Setup menu
for the first weighing instrument under
"WP-1" and for the second weighing
instrument under "Com1, WP-2" or
"UniCOM, WP-2." Settings are config-
ured in the corresponding numeric
menu under menu item 1.18.
– The service mode is not required
for configuring menu item 1.18.1,
"External user-defined weight."
– The calibration/adjustment and
linearization weights must be entered
in the weight unit specified in the
A/D converter configuration under
menu item 11.8.

Enter external user-defined calibration weight (service mode not required)
Enter linearization weight 1
Enter linearization weight 2
Enter linearization weight 3
Enter linearization weight 4
Procedure
– Activating the service mode (required
only for entering linearization weights)
– Select the weighing instrument
– Enter external user-defined weight
under menu item 1.18.1
– Enter external linearization weights
under menu items 1.18.2 through
1.18.5
