Trainee must repeat a light sequence by tilting the electronic balance board in the direction of
the lights (similar to the game "simon"). Not timed.

96. Eye/Hand Coordination Using The Joystick

Connect the hand switch/joystick to the back connector. Set up the lights as in figure 2. The
lights are self controlled (move only when button is depressed). Lights will flash on for 1000
milliseconds, but the joystick must be moved in the direction of the lights within 500
milliseconds to score a point. If not, a time out signal is produced. The joystick must still be
moved in the direction of the light, but no point will be scored. Timed for 120 seconds.

97. Peripheral Awareness - On The Balance Board

Five switch/lights are used connected to their respective jacks-front, back, right, left and center.
Four switch/lights are mounted on the wall in the form of a triangle. The fifth switch/light in the
center of the triangle and will act as the fixation point. Trainee is instructed to fixate on the
central target while responding to the peripheral lights by tilting the balance board in the
direction indicated. Lights flash "on" for 400 milliseconds. Timed for 100 seconds. (Note that the
center light will not illuminate)

98. Complete Body Reaction Using The Balance Board

Plug the balance board into the back connector. Shift the balance to the left. Wait for the signal,
and immediately respond by shifting the balance to the right. Display records the reaction time.
Repeat using only sound, or connect a switch/light for visual signal.
