    GETTING ACQUAINTED WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS 1 GENERAL INFORMATION The Familio Pro digital video interphone system is designed to be used for single-family and multi- family solutions, where transmission of a video signal accompanied by an audio signal is required. The system also allows one to establish internal connections (intercom) between monitors.

    3.5 Opening the door and preview control The door is opened (typically by activating the electric strike) once the key icon is touched. The preview is switched on, once the monitor icon is touched. Both functions are available on condition that other users are not receiving calls.

    3.8 Connecting the panel to a computer and panel configuration with the Familio PRO application In order to connect the panel to a PC computer and configure it with the Familio PRO application, the optional CDN-USB cable should be used. The free application should be downloaded from the address: www.aco.com.pl.

    ATTENTION! To ensure proper functioning and operation safety, the installed panel should be connected to a ground line. The "ground" terminal on the panel body should be connected to an appropriate protective installation (PE) – this concerns a metal box. 4.1 Panel Fig.

    4.2 Power-supply unit ATTENTION! To ensure proper functioning and operation safety, the power-supply unit should be connected to 230V grid with an appropriate three-core cable and the PE terminal must unconditionally be connected. The connection to 230V grid must be made by a qualified electrician. The work involves exposure to voltages that are dangerous for health and life! The power-supply unit is designed to be mounted on a DIN 35 mm rail or flush-mounted.
  • Page 14 The video terminator should be switched on in each monitor with switch 6 (ON position). It is required to be off only in special cases, discussed in the diagrams catalogue. The 10k line terminator (switch 5) should be switched on ONLY in the monitor that is furthest removed from the panel.

    To mount the monitor, slide it onto the relevant catches (1) in the plate and move it down to snap (2) (fig. 4.11). More persistent dirt can be removed from the panel with stainless steel cleaning agents (e.g.
