1. Status LEDs
• Power: Solid blue when power is applied
• Link: Solid green when link is present between extenders
• Host: Solid green when connected to host PC; flashes green when in a
suspended state
• Activity: Flashes amber when transmitting data; off when in extenders
are in a suspended state
2. 5V DC Power Input — Only needed if host PC cannot provide 500mA of current
to USB port
3. USB Type B Port to PC
4. Link Port to Extender
A. USB Type A Port to Device(s) with LED
• Solid green when device is present and operating normally
• Off when device is in suspend mode or extender is powered off
• Solid orange when an overcurrent condition (greater than 500 mA of
current draw) is detected
