HARD DRIVE INSTALLATION
This section contains important information on adding or replacing the internal disk drives. Please read the entire section
before performing any work.
Do not allow any metal object to contact the motherboard. Do not allow lose screws to become lost inside the MDAe
chassis. Wear an Electrostatic Discharge protection device whenever work is being performed inside the unit.
OPENING THE MDAe
1. Before removing the MDAe cover, turn off the MDAe and unplug it.
2. Using a suitable screwdriver, carefully remove the 12 screws fastening the cover to the chassis. Save the screws and
use them to refasten the cover when finished.
