Connect each installed hard drive to the power supply connectors with the power supply connector cables supplied.
When connecting 1 to 4 disk drives, use the power connectors directly from the motherboard (using the power connector
cables provided). When connecting more than four disk drives, use the connectors directly from the power supply and the
connectors on the motherboard.

The motherboard has four IDE connector sockets labelled IDE 1, IDE 2, IDE 3 and IDE 4, and is supplied with four IDE
connector cables. Each cable can be used to connect two disk drives. The cable has a red stripe down one of its edges
which is used to identify pin 1 of the connector. The IDE connector on the motherboard has a mark ( ) to indicate pin 1.
Ensure that the IDE cable is correctly oriented such that the red stripe is located nearest to the pin 1 indicator mark on the
motherboard. Connect the other end of the IDE cable to the disk drive ensuring that the red stripe is adjacent to pin 1 of
the drive (the end nearest the jumpers).
