The above warning labels mean as follows.

Keep hands, hair, and clothing away from rotating

parts while the engine is running.
Do not touch or remove electrical parts when starting

or during operation.

Wear an approved personal flotation device (PFD).

Attach engine shut-off cord (lanyard) to your PFD,

arm, or leg so the engine stops if you accidentally
leave the helm, which could prevent a runaway boat.
