battery Check
The meter is powered by a single coin cell battery, CR2450 (3v). The first time you see the battery icon
in the upper right corner of the screen and the blood drop at the lower left corner of the screen, the meter
has sufficient charge for 20 more tests. Continue with testing as usual; the battery indicator will remain
on-screen. Please contact the Menarini Helpline immediately on 0800 243 667 for a free replacement
battery.
After 20, more tests have been performed, there will be insufficient battery charge to continue testing,
and the meter will no longer operate until the battery is replaced. The battery icon will only appear when
a strip is inserted and the icon will disappear when the strip is removed. If you have forgotten to order a
new battery when the battery icon first displayed please call Menarini Helpline on 0800 243 667 for a free
replacement battery.
