3. Before using the pizza oven for first time
1. Remove all packaging from the pizza oven.
2. Wipe the inside of the pizza oven with a cloth moistened with dishwashing
detergent, and then dry it with a dry cloth.
3. Wipe the outside with a dry cloth.
4. Position the stone plate.
5. Place the pizza oven on a level surface.
6. Make sure that the temperature control is on "0" and the timer on "0", plug it
in to the mains outlet. The pizza oven might emit an odour of burning the first
time it is used, allow the oven to warm up (without a pizza) to get rid of this
odour.
7. Set the temperature control to "2" and the timer to "10 minutes", the best way
to set the timer for a shorter time than 15 minutes is to turn the knob past
(longer time) the time you want, then turn the knob back to the correct time.
8. Set the temperature control to "3" and the timer to "5 minutes".
9. The pizza oven is now ready for baking your first pizza.
Note! The pizza oven's handle gets hot, it is recommended that you use an oven
glove or cloth when touching the pizza oven.
4. Starting to use the pizza oven
1. Make sure that the temperature control is on "0" and the timer on "0", plug it in
to the mains outlet.
2. For best results, warm the oven before use, like this:
Set the temperature control to "2" and the timer to "15 minutes", the best way
to set the timer for a shorter time than 15 minutes is to turn the knob past
(longer time) the time you want, then turn the knob back to the correct time.
The pizza oven has 3 heat settings:
• Position 1 is the lowest temperature, ideal for keeping pizzas warm.
• Position 2 is generally the best setting for baking normal pizzas.
• Position 3 is the highest temperature and therefore best for baking pizzas
with extra topping or which require extra heat.
When the heat indicator light is lit, the pizza oven is still warming up and has
not yet reached the correct temperature.
3. When the heat indicator light goes out the pizza oven is ready for baking your
first pizza.
4. Be careful when opening the lid, use an oven glove or something similar. Do
not hold your face directly over the lid, steam might escape when you open it.
