W'hcn cooking a food for the first
time in your new oven, use time
givenon recipes as a guide. OverI
thermostats,over a period of years,
may "drift" from the factorysetting
and differences in timing between
an old and a new ovenof 5 to 10
minutesare not unusual and you
maybe inclinedto think thatthe new
ovenis not performing correctly.
However,your new ovenhas been
set correctly at the factory and is
more apt to be accurate than the
ovenit replaced.

N~E: Beforebeginning,make
sure the hands of the rangeclock
showthe correct time of day.
Immediate Start is simply setting
ovento start baking now and turning
off at a later time automatically.
Remember, foods continuecooking
after controls are off.
Step 1: Place food in oven, being
certain to leave about 1 inch of
space between pans and wallsof
oven for good circulation of heat.
Close oven door. During baking,
avoidfrequent door openings to
prevent undesirable results.
StepI1: To set Stop Time, push in
knob on STOP dial and turn pointer
to time you want oven to turn off;
for example 6:00. The DELAY
STARTdial (some models may say
START)should beat the same
positionas the time of day on clock.
Stei~2: Turn OVEN SET knob to
BAKE and OVEN TEMP knob to
temper~turc on recipe or on Baking
Guide.
Step 3: Check food for doneness

Step 1: To set start time, push in
knobon DELAYSTARTdial (some
modelsmay say START)and turn
pointer to time you wantovento
turn on, for example3:30.
Step 2: To set Stop Time, push in
knob on STOP dial and turn pointer
to time you want ovento turn off,
for example6:00. This means your
recipe called for two and one-half
hours of baking time.
N~E:
Time on STOP dial must
be later than time shown oil range
clock and DELAY STARTdial.
Step 3: Turn OVEN SET knob to
TIME BAKE. Turri OVEN TEMP
knob to 250"F. or recommended
temperature.
Place food in oven. close the door
and automatically the oven will be
turned on and off at the times you
have set. Turn OVEN SET to OFF
and remove food from oven.

TIME BAKE setting may work
differently than they do at BAI<E
setting. Carefully recheck the steps
