To add oil, remove the dipstick. Place a funnel
into the dipstick tube to avoid spillage.
Add a small amount of recommended oil and
recheck oil level.
Repeat the above procedures until oil level
reaches the dipstick's upper mark. Do not
overfill.
Properly tighten dipstick.

Engine Coolant

Recommended Coolant
Always use ethylene-glycol antifreeze con-
taining corrosion inhibitors specifically for in-
ternal combustion aluminum engines.
C o o l i n g s y s t e m m u s t b e f i l l e d w i t h
Bombardier premixed coolant (P/N 219 700
362) or with distilled water and antifreeze so-
lution (50% distilled water, 50% antifreeze).

Coolant Level

WARNING
Check coolant level with engine cold. Nev-
er add coolant in cooling system when en-
gine is hot.
Remove access panel.

TYPICAL
With vehicle on a level surface, liquid should
be between MIN. and MAX. level marks of
coolant reservoir.
NOTE: When checking level at temperature
lower than 20°C (68°F), it may be slightly low-
er than MIN. mark.
Add coolant up to MAX. mark if required. Use
a funnel to avoid spillage. Do not overfill.
Properly reinstall and tighten filler cap and re-
install access panel.
If the coolant is added in the coolant reservoir,
check the level in the radiator too. Add coolant
if necessary.
WARNING
In order to avoid getting burned, do not re-
move the radiator cap if the engine is hot.
NOTE: A cooling system that frequently re-
quires coolant is the indication of leaks or en-
g i n e p r o b l e m s . S e e a n a u t h o r i z e d
Bombardier ATV dealer.
Coolant Replacement
Refer to MAINTENANCE section.

Brake Fluid

Recommended Fluid
Always use brake fluid meeting the specifica-
tion DOT 4 only.
CAUTION: To avoid serious damage to the
braking system, do not use fluids other than
the recommended one, nor mix different fluids
for topping up.

Fluid Level

With vehicle on a level surface, check brake
fluid in reservoirs for proper level. They
should be above MIN. mark.
Add fluid as required. Do not overfill.
Clean filler cap before removing.
