Attach ball joint to speed select lever with
Iockwasher and nut, then tighten. See
figure below. The speed control rod and
ball joint have been preadjusted at the
factory and should not require readjust-
ment.

NOTE: Your snow thrower is equipped with
height adjust skids (see second figure on
page 5) on the outside of the auger housing.
To adjust the skid height for different
conditions, (see To Adjust Skid Height para-
graph on page t8).

4' No remaining loose parts in carton,
except for extra shear bolt assembly
parts.

with clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline.

location and function. Operate controls
