Filling in gear oil

Too little gear oil or poor-quality gear oil results in premature wear to the transmission.

Adding gear oil

Info
Too little gear oil or poor-quality gear oil results in premature wear to the transmission.
The gear oil level should only be added when the engine is cold.
Main work
Remove the gear oil drain plug with magnet
Let the gear oil drain fully.
Thoroughly clean the gear oil drain plug with magnet.
Clean the sealing surface on the engine.
Mount and tighten gear oil drain plug with magnet

Remove filler plug
Gear oil
Mount and tighten the oil filler plug.

Danger of poisoning Exhaust gases are toxic and inhaling them may result
in unconsciousness and/or death.

Start the engine and check that it is oil-tight.
Finishing work
Check the gear oil level. (
Preparatory work
Park the motorcycle on a level surface.
Main work
Remove the gear oil monitoring screw

Remove filler plug
Fill in gear oil until it emerges from the drilled hole of the gear oil monitoring
screw.
Engine oil (15W/50) (
Mount and tighten the gear oil monitoring screw.

When running the engine, always make sure there is sufficient ventila-
tion, and do not start or run the engine in an enclosed space without an
effective exhaust extraction system.
