Checking the chain, rear sprocket, engine sprocket and chain guide

The wide adjustment range of the chain adjusters enables different sec-
ondary ratios with the same chain length.
Chain adjusters
Finishing work
Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. (
Preparatory work
Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (
Main work
Shift gear to neutral.
Check the rear sprocket and engine sprocket for wear.

If the rear sprocket and engine sprocket are worn:
Change the drivetrain kit.

Pull on the upper part of the chain with the specified weight

Measure the distance

Chain wear is not always even, so you should repeat this measurement at
different chain positions.

guard:

Tighten the screws on the chain sliding guard.
