The feedback tone settings are used when you use the
dialing pad, make a screen selection, lock your screen, or
touch the screen.
1. From the Settings screen, touch Sound.
2. Touch any of the following options to create a check
mark and activate the feature:
• Dialing keypad tone: Makes a sound when you touch
a key on the keyboard.
• Touch sounds: Makes a sound when you touch the
screen.
• Screen lock sound: Makes a sound when your screen
is locked or unlocked.
• Emergency Tone: Set a sound option for emergency
calls. Options are:

Off: No tone or vibration plays during emergency
calls.

Alert: A tone plays during emergency calls.
–
Vibrate: A vibration plays during emergency calls.

1. From the Settings screen, touch Sound.
2. Touch any of the following options to display sound
settings for the application:
• Call: See "Call" on page 151..
• Messaging: See "Messaging Settings" on page 82..

• Calendar: See "Calendar" on page 124..
