Solution
Open the Utility sheet of the printer driver and
perform Printhead Position Adjustment.
5.2 Adjusting the Printhead Position
If you are using the printer at low temperature, open
the Utility sheet in the printer driver then select the
Low Temperature Print Mode under the Special
Settings item.

Open the Utility sheet in the printer driver, then
select the High Precision Text Mode under the
Special Settings item.

Make sure that Canon Specialty Paper is used.
Determine which is the correct print side. If you are
using paper that cannot be printed on both sides,
printing on the back will result in poor print quality.
Solution
Open the printer driver and adjust Color Adjustment,
Brightness, Level Correction from the Color sheet.
3.4 Using the Color Sheet
You should also open the Control Panel, click the
Display icon, and check the settings for your
computer monitor.
If the wrong display type is selected, or if the
gamma coefficient selection is incorrect, colors will
not be displayed correctly on the monitor.
Make sure that Canon Specialty Paper is used.
