ATENCIÓN
LOS ELECTRODOS DE LAS BUJÍAS
MONTADAS EN ESTE VEHÍCULO,
SON DEL TIPO DE PLATINO. PARA
LIMPIARLOS NO UTILIZAR CEPILLOS
METÁLICOS Y/O PRODUCTOS ABRA-
SIVOS, SINO EXCLUSIVAMENTE UN
CHORRO DE AGUA A PRESIÓN.
Leyenda:
- electrodo central (3);
- aislante (4);
- electrodo lateral (5).

Controlar que los electrodos y el
aislante de la bujía no conten-
gan depósitos de carbono ni se-
ñales de corrosión y, eventual-

mente, limpiarlos con un chorro
de agua a presión.
Si la bujía presenta grietas en el aislante,
electrodos corroídos, excesivos depósi-
tos o electrodo central (3) con el extremo
superior redondeado (6), debe ser susti-
tuida.
CUANDO SE SUSTITUYE LA BUJÍA,
CONTROLAR EL PASO Y LA LONGI-
TUD DE LA ROSCA. SI LA ROSCA ES

PLUGS INSTALLED ON THIS VEHICLE
ARE PLATINUM ELECTRODES. DO
NOT USE METAL BRUSHES AND/OR
ABRASIVE PRODUCTS TO CLEAN
THE SPARK PLUGS. USE ONLY A
COMPRESSED AIR JET.
Key:
- central electrode (3);
- insulator (4);
- side electrode (5);

Check that the electrodes and
the insulator of the spark plug do
not show signs of carbon depos-
its and corrosion. If required,
clean them using a compressed
air jet.
Replace the spark plug if its insulator is
cracked, the electrodes show signs of
corrosion or excessive deposits, or the
top (6) of the central electrode (3) gets
rounded.
WHEN REPLACING A SPARK PLUG,
CHECK THE PITCH AND LENGTH OF
THE THREAD.IF THE THREADED
