UP position. Therefore we suggest the
following: Set the travel of the gear
channel in your transmitter to 90 %
each way. Program the switch points
accordingly. Then increase the travel
again to 100%. That way the valves
will always switch very reliably
exactly where and when you want.
Hydraulic setup for the wing folds is
next. First install servo, valve, pump
and accumulator as suggested on the
photos. It is important that you follow
the setup and plumbing instructions of
the hydraulic system manufacturer
(Haeusl), which in case of system
updates always will overrule the
instructions given in this manual. That
there is no side load on the hydraulic
valve's piston, it needs to be installed
on a rotating pin. We have included a
few milled phenolic parts, which you
can use for the valve mount.
Now, permanently install the
hydraulic lines from the cylinders to
the valve. Start on the pump side and
leave the cylinder sides long and
open. The right/left UP-lines come
together with a T-fitting (use only the
black push-in fittings) and push into
one connector at the valve block. The
DOWN lines with a T-fitting into the
other connector at the valve block.

The pump outlet is connected to the
valve where it is marked with "in".
The accumulator is connected parallel
to the pump on the pressure side with
a T push-in fitting. Both feed and
return line can be Tygon. The feed
line connects the long pickup tube in
the plastic bag with the pump and the
return line connects the valve's return
outlet with the plastic bag.
We recommend to use Baby Oil as
hydraulic medium. This is clean, non-
toxic, not harmful to the skin, has no
