- Page 3 95-1005 DASH DISASSEMBL Y 2003-2006 KIA SORRENTO (EXCLUDING SPORT MODELS) Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Open ashtray and unclip and remove side panels. (Figure A) Remove (8) Phillips screws from the radio trim panel the remove the panel.

Remove the ashtray and (1) Phillips screw exposed in the ashtray cavity. (Figure A) Unclip and remove the small trim panel from around radio, climate controls and shifter.

Remove the ashtray and (1) Phillips screw exposed in the ashtray cavity. (1 Phillips screw exists in 2002 model only). (Figure A) Unclip and remove entire panel sur- rounding radio and climate controls.

- Page 8 95-1005 KIT ASSEMBL Y TAB REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS You will need to cut and remove the tabs according to the chart and refer- ring to the diagram below: 1 2 3 The 2002-2005 Kia Sedona and the 2001-2003 Kia Spectra will use the tabs marked by the number 2 on the brackets.
- Page 9 95-1005 KIT ASSEMBL Y DOUBLE DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Slide the appropriate bracket into the trim plate aligning the holes in the trim plate to the clips on the bracket. (Figure A) Slide the DDIN radio unit into the trim plate bracket assembly and secure the unit to the kit using the screws supplied with the head unit.
- Page 10 95-1005 KIT ASSEMBL Y STACKED ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Slide the appropriate bracket into the trim plate aligning the holes in the trim plate to the clips on the bracket. (Figure A) Slide the stacked ISO DIN units into...

- Page 12 95-1005 FINAL ASSEMBL Y FINAL ASSEMBL Y 1 Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown. Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)
