- Page 3 95-7870 DASH DISASSEMBL Y HONDA RIDGELINE 2005-2009 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unclip and remove entire panel sur- rounding radio and a/c control all the way over to left side of steering wheel. (Figure A) Remove (5) Phillips screws securing the radio and pocket assembly.

- Page 5 95-7870 KIT ASSEMBL Y HONDA RIDGELINE 2005-2009 DOUBLE DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Slide the appropriate double DIN bracket into the trim plate aligning the holes in the trim plate to the clips on the bracket. (Figure A) Slide the double DIN radio unit into the housing bracket assembly and secure the unit to the kit using the screws supplied with the head unit.
- Page 6 95-7870 KIT ASSEMBL Y HONDA RIDGELINE 2005-2009 STACKED ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Slide the appropriate double DIN bracket into the trim plate aligning the holes in the trim plate to the clips on the bracket. (Figure A) Slide the stacked ISO DIN units into the housing bracket assembly and secure the unit to the kit using the screws supplied with the head unit.
- Page 7 95-7870 KIT ASSEMBL Y FINAL ASSEMBL Y 1 Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown. Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.) 2 Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
