The drop>out color refers to a printing color visible to people but which cannot be
recognized by the scanner. If characters other than the read characters are printed
in the ground color area, they must be printed in the drop>out color.

Print Density Measurement
The spectrum band shown in Figure C.1 is used to measure print density.
The measurement must be made in one of the following ways :
a. A light source using fluorescent material G54 is used.
b. Macbeth PCS meter PCMII is used, which requires special filter.
