Adding favorites
Adding predefined favorites
Press the favorites button on the controller.

The favorites are displayed.
To show the menu bar: slide 6 the con-

troller.
To select Reassign: turn and press the con-
X
troller.
The categories for the available favorites are
displayed.
To select a category: turn the controller and
X
press to confirm.
The corresponding favorites are displayed.
To select a favorite: turn and press the con-
X
troller.
To add a favorite at the desired position:
X
turn and press the controller.
If there is already a favorite at this position,
then this will be deleted.
Adding your own favorites
You can create your own favorites to help you to
use these functions, for example:
Calling up telephone numbers from the tele-
R
phone book
Selecting a radio station
R
Skipping to a specific place in a track or an
R
audio book
Calling up preferred media
R
Selecting navigation destinations for route
R
calculation
The example shows how to store a telephone
number from the telephone book as a favorite.
Call up the phone book.
X
Search for the contact and display the phone
X
number.
To add a telephone number as a favorite
X
at the desired position: press and hold the
favorites button on the controller until the
favorites are displayed.
Turn and press the controller.
X
If there is already a favorite at this position,
then this will be deleted.
Renaming favorites
Press the favorites button on the controller.

The favorites are displayed.
To select a favorite to be renamed: turn the
X
controller.
To show the menu bar: slide 6 the con-
X
troller.
To select Rename: turn and press the control-
X
ler.
Enter characters using the controller.
X
To finish the entry: select OK.
X
The favorite is renamed.
Moving favorites
Press the favorites button on the controller.
X
The favorites are displayed.
To select a favorite to be moved: turn the
X
controller.
To show the menu bar: slide 6 the con-
X
troller.
To select Move: turn and press the controller.

To store a favorite in the desired order:
X
turn and press the controller.
The favorite is moved.
If one favorite is stored over another one, this
is then is deleted.
Deleting favorites
Press the favorites button on the controller.

The favorites are displayed.
To select a favorite to be deleted: turn the

controller.
