Requirement for establishing a WiFi connection
between the multimedia system and a WiFi-ena-
bled device, such as a tablet computer or smart-
phone:
WiFi must be activated on the multimedia sys-
R
tem and on the device to be connected.
If the multimedia system is to be used as a WiFi
hotspot:
The multimedia system must be connected to

an Internet-enabled mobile phone via Blue-
®
tooth or USB.
The Internet access data for the mobile phone
R
network provider must be selected or set in
the multimedia system.
An Internet connection must be established
R
on the multimedia system.
Canada:
Requirements for establishing a WiFi connec-
tion between the multimedia system and a WiFi
hotspot of a WiFi-enabled device, such as a
smartphone, or another hotspot:
WiFi must be activated on the multimedia sys-

tem.
Switch on WiFi hotspot on an external device

(see the manufacturer's operating instruc-
tions).

Press the Ø button on the COMAND con-

trol panel.

Press Vehicle in the main function bar.
