Switching off
If you do not wish to bake any more
waffles, turn the temperature regulator
(1) to the "0" position and pull the plug
out of the mains socket.
Wait until the appliance has cooled
down before cleaning and storing.
Vertical position
The appliance can be stored in a vertical
position to save space.
Turn the appliance 90° to the vertical
position.
In this position, push the clip (10) into
the base (9) to lock into position (see
image C1).

Cleaning and care

Before beginning work, pay attention to
the safety instructions in the Safety sec-
tion (page.17)!
Clean the appliance after each use.
Wipe all parts of the appliance with a
damp cloth.

Storage

If you do not intend to use the appliance
for a longer period of time, clean it as de-
scribed in the section Cleaning and care
Cleaning and care (page 25).
Put the appliance into a vertical position
to save space while storing (see section
Vertical position; page 25).
Store the appliance at a dry, clean and
frost-free place which is protected against
direct sunlight.
