 This machine is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been giv-
en supervision or instruction concern-
ing use of the machine by a person re-
sponsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the
machine.
 The operator or user is responsible
for accidents or hazards occurring
to other people or their property.
 Other persons and animals should re-
main at a distance of 3 metres or more
when the machine is being used. The
operator is responsible for third per-
sons in the working area.
 Never operate the machine while
people, especially children or pets,
are nearby.
 Never operate the product when
you are tired, ill or under the influ-
ence of alcohol, drugs or medicine.
 Avoid operating the machine in bad
weather conditions especially when
there is a risk of lightning.
 Always wear long heavy trousers,
boots and gloves. Do not wear loose
clothing, jewellery, short trousers,
sandals or go barefoot. Secure hair so
that it is above shoulder level to avoid
entanglement with moving parts.
 Failure to keep loose clothing from
being drawn into air intake could re-
sult in personal injury.
 Failure to keep long hair away from
the air inlet could result in personal
injury.

 Use the machine only in daylight or
good artificial light.
 Always be sure of your footing on
slopes.
 Walk. Never run with the product.
 Do not overreach and keep your bal-
ance at all times.
 Keep all cooling air inlets clear of de-
bris.
 Never blow debris in the direction of
bystanders.
 Switch off when transporting the
blower to and from the area to be
worked on.
 Wear safety eye protection and
ear defenders when operating the
machine.
 Wear eye protection which is
marked to comply with EN 166 as
well as hearing protection when us-
ing this machine.
 Wear a face filter mask in dusty con-
ditions to reduce the risk of injury
associated with the inhalation of
dust.
 Do not touch moving hazardous
parts before the machine is discon-
nected from the mains and moving
hazardous parts have come to a
complete stop.
 Switch off and remove the plug from
the socket:
– whenever you leave the machine
unattended for any period
– if the cable is tangled
– before cleaning or working on the
blower
– before removing the blower at-
tachment
