Various settings
Administrator mode
In Administrator mode, you can specify the system settings for this machine.
You can select five tabs (System, User Box, Print, Fax/Scan, or Network).
For details on logging on to Administrator mode, refer to "Logging on to Ad-
ministrator mode" on page 11-42.
Note
The User Box tab can only be displayed when an optional hard disk is in-
stalled.
The Fax/Scan tab is displayed when the optional fax kit is installed. If the
optional fax kit is not installed, the Scan tab is displayed.
This manual describes the printer related functions. For the box, scanner,
and network functions of this machine, refer to User's Guide [Box Oper-
ations] and User's Guide [Network Scanner Operations].
Basic operation

Click a tab, and then select an item from the menu.

Specify settings for the displayed items. Either enter a setting directly
or select one from the drop-down list.

Click the [Apply] button to apply the settings.
